![]() After a while (3 months?) I took the card to Ford,and the person said the problem was with my phone. Error messages started to be only when I sharted up the car, but then they gradually became more frequent. "I started to get error messages that my phone was not compatible with Synch after 2 years. Usually, if I turn the car off for 5 minutes and try again it will work. "Sometimes the bluetooth just will NOT sync up. When I turn the vehicle off and wait abt 2 minutes and turn the vehicle back on the screen and all its' functions works again"Įxternal music device interface (e.g., smart phone, MP3 player) "sometimes when starting the vehicle REMOTELY the screen does NOT come on.and no functions are available. "Unit froze and a new unit was put in under extended warranty" I have not resolved but believe it will need to be replaced." "The display that show's the mileage and speed among other things flickered a while then went blank. It required a replacement of the entire module, and a lot of inconvenience for us." "The Sync system developed a malfunction that caused it to intermittently stop working in one or more areas. (2016 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo) The internal hard drive was cleaned up and rebooted twice in one week. "The screen went gray and affected all systems to some extent in the car so that I was not comfortable driving it safely. Even after bringing it in for service the radio still stops playing.
